NB WINS LASEPA ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY INNOVATION AWARD

Nigerian Breweries has won the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) Sustainability Innovation Award for 2018. The award was given in recognition of our company’s compliance with the set environmental standards provided by LASEPA. The award is also an acknowledgment of our company’s self-regulatory practices, which aims at improving environmental performance.

The Safety, Health and Environment policies and Risk Assessment Practices played significant roles in positioning Nigerian Breweries for the conferment of the award. The award is a further demonstration of our commitment to delivering the core values of our “Brewing a Better World” initiative and our passion for quality and Performance.

While presenting the award to Mr. Patrick Olowokere, Corporate Communications Manager, NB Plc, the Director General of LASEPA, Engineer Antonio Ayodele said “I want to congratulate Nigerian Breweries on this award and for its strict compliance to the rules and regulations of the Environmental Management System. Your company is a sterling example of compliance to safety, health and environment in the country”.
