Winners of Chop Life Experiences Get Back To Business As Life Lager Supports Businesses With 40 Million Naira

  • Share

In response to the hardship occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic, Life Continental Lager has revamped businesses in southeastern states and few other regions across Nigeria over the last three months with the injection of over N40 million disbursed to support MSMEs.

The Chop Life Experience scheme created the opportunity for the brand to boost the economic lifelines of households and business owners across the country, many of which are struggling to access finance for their various businesses.

The selection of winners followed a review/selection process. Consumers began by submitting their entries at various Chop Life empowerment centers. These entries were reviewed and validated ahead of the weekly activation events. Winners were announced at various in-bar activations which spanned weekly, across Nigeria.

Many of the beneficiaries who are small scale traders have seized the opportunity of the support to rebuild their businesses, increase revenue and create employment platforms for many more people.

Speaking at the activation event which held recently in Owerri, one of the winners had this to say: ‘’this is a very rare opportunity for me and my business, things have been down for me and my family due to the economic hardship but with this support from Life Lager Beer, I am sure things will change and I can get my business back on track’’.

Chop Life Promo is revamping businesses in many states across Nigeria. These businesses cut across different sectors, from merchandising stores, sales outlets, retailing, agriculture and logistics.

Also speaking at an activation center in Lagos recently, the Brand Manager, Life Lager, Chidi Egwu said: ‘’Life Continental Lager Beer decided to demonstrate interest in the progress of our people by supporting businesses because the brand is committed to creating paths to progress consistently’’.

Through its Progress Booster program, the brand recently gave out N3 million grant to some traders at the New Yam Festival which was held in Lagos recently.

Life Lager Beer was first brewed in Onitsha, Anambra State in 1981 and has since grown from a regional beer brand to becoming one of the leading lager brands in the country that is empowering businesses through several initiatives such as Progress Booster and the Chop Life Experience Scheme.
