Gulder Lager Beer Relaunched In Nigeria’s Most Innovative Beer Bottle

After forty-four years in the Nigerian market, Gulder Lager Beer, the only Nigerian Lager Beer with an unconventional brown bottle surprised consumers when it ushered in a unique packaging on Saturday, September 6, 2014. The new Gulder bottle boasts of a proud gold neck foil and bold shoulder-embossment, complemented by a new metallized body label with striking double side-embossment. It has a strong masculine look that stands shoulder to should with the male target audience who drink it.

Gulder, the first Nigerian Beer to be sold in a brown bottle has maintained its trademark uniqueness that set it apart from all other beer brands in the market. Of the innovation Walter Drenth Marketing Director Nigerian Breweries Plc said: “What we have done is to take Gulder from a 1970 bottle and transform it to a 2020 bottle. I can tell you that this is the most innovative bottle in the Nigerian beer market today”.
